Estilo Salon & Day Spa
One of the first salons to join the ARROJO Professional Ambassador Program, Estilo Salon & Day Spa reported exceptional product sales from day one.
“It’s been so exciting to see retail sales grow,” said salon owner Cindy Landa. “We are up more than 10%, and if current trends continue, it will be even higher in another six months. ARROJO product retail sales outperform our traditional top sellers. The product performance makes them a sure sale.”
Estilo’s achievements ensured they were one of the first to benefit from Nick Arrojo’s personal pledge to be part of promotional in-salon events for high-achievers. “I joined the Ambassador Program to be a part of something greater in our industry,” continued Cindy. “The support from ARROJO is amazing, and the business plan Nick has for Ambassadors allows my staff and I to travel to New York and get education for free. Add that to quality products at a good price-point and it’s win-win. We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Nick into Estilo and the benefit it brings to my business is just phenomenal.”
So on September 16, it was on with the show. Nick and fellow ARROJO stylist, Lee Smith, arrived early and started the day with (free) educational demonstrations, exclusively for the staff of Estilo. Most noticeable was the close up and personal nature of the session. As Nick demonstrated his signature technique of creative, precision-based hairdressing, attendees were able to ask questions ranging from his cutting technique, his inspirations, new-to-market products, and his development of his 23-unit ARROJO Product line that is driving innovation in the industry.
With so much passion, insight and inspiration, Nick always goes above and beyond. At the end of the demos –– wheels turning from all those product questions, no doubt –– he instigated an impromptu product knowledge class that highlighted his vision to create products suited equally well to stylists and clients, with multi-functional uses, features and benefits.
When Cindy found out Nick was coming to town, she ran a ‘win a makeover with Nick’ competition for her clients, and as day turned to night, it was time for the main event: A packed house looked enviously on as the lucky winner plunged into Nick’s makeover chair.
While slicing off locks with love, Nick remained jokey and irreverent, keeping the atmosphere high and the audience participation full. Yet it was seeing a celebrity stylist work his magic live that was at the center of everyone’s eye. After one stunning new look, came opportunity to meet and greet with Nick, and take advantage of ‘one-night-only’ product promotions that brought record-breaking sales to Estilo.
For all concerned, it was a truly memorable day and night, and showed, once again, the inspirational and motivational value of education, close and personal, hairdresser-to-hairdresser relationships.
