Careers at ARROJO

ARROJO aims to be the most talent-rich hairdressing brand in the United States because a great culture starts with great people. Our idea is to recruit a brilliant and diverse group of energized individuals, provide a work environment perfect for their work to flourish, and create opportunities for them to shape the future of our industry. As well as hairdressers, we welcome applications from receptionists and experienced salon and spa managers. With the on-going expansion of the brand, we also welcome career applications from office staff who bring talent and passion to the table. For the position you wish to apply for, please include the position title in the subject line of your email. Include your resume and a covering letter outlining why you want to work at ARROJO.

Apprentices & Stylists

We have a warm and welcoming culture and openly accept applications from experienced stylists and cosmetology graduates alike, but we do ask all applicants to specialize in either cut or color. Experienced stylists with the right skill set can go straight onto the salon floor and begin to build their client base. Recent Cosmetology Graduates start as an apprentice, and take advanced hairdressing classes three times a week as part of our 18-month training program. After completing the program, you’ll have a phenomenal skill set and are free to build your client base on the salon floor. For all stylists, there are opportunities to teach, and to travel around the world with our show and seminar team.

Teachers

Our boutique cosmetology school features the most advanced and inspirational, career-shaping curriculum in the country. We also boast the industry’s best educators. We teach with passion, commitment, skill, craft, kindness, patience, knowledge, open hearts and minds. Joining our faculty staff puts you in position to shape the future of our industry. To be considered, applicants must have a minimum of two years current hairdressing experience with expert technical knowledge of precision-based cutting, coloring, and chemical services. Applicants must also possess great communication and presentation skills, and be willing to work a flexible schedule.

Everybody Else

We welcome career applications in the following categories: Receptionists and salon managers, sales and marketing, graphic design and copy-writing, press & PR, accounting, beauty product development, and administration. And whoever you are, whatever you do, if you feel you can add something special to our team, please tell us about your skill-set, and how it can benefit our brand. For any of these positions, relevant experience, talent, and dedication to the continued development of ARROJO are a must. Being Mac literate, creative and pro-active are other essential ingredients.
